Joyce Dillon

Joyce Dillon, RN, MN, is an author, life and wellness coach, mind-body practitioner, retreat leader and CEO of Healthy Living and Balance, an international coaching and personal development company based in Atlanta, GA and Costa Rica that supports women in breaking through barriers to find their passions, purpose and destiny. She also helps them to identify their core belief patterns and thoughts that are blocking their ability to enjoy the life they deeply desire. 

She combines a Masters Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Consultation and Education with thirty years of clinical experience and extensive training in coaching, mind-body medicine, meditation, energy medicine and transformational teaching and is the author of the forthcoming book “Living Consciously in Times of Turbulance and Transformation”.

Joyce's Personal Story

"I moved to New York City in 1980. After several years I was able to created the company of my dreams, an international travel, meeting and event company. I was financially successful, had a strong spiritual community, a relationship, and friends. By all my standards I was successful and financially stable. I had finally created the life I thought was my life purpose. But little did I know this was about to change.

"For many years, I had studied metaphysics, Shamanism, Buddhism and numerous other healing traditions for my own personal development. After several years of spiritual work, I began to experience a yearning or calling from my higher self to relocate to a different city where I could spend more time exploring how to integration my spiritual teachings into a business. I struggled for several years pushing back the message from my soul to move forward. How could I leave the world I had created for myself?

In 1994, I relocated to Atlanta, shortly thereafter, I experiencing a devastating loss of my relationship and abruptly changed my career path. I was depressed, and lost in fear and doubt. I found myself in the 'belly of the dark night of my soul.'

"As part of my healing journey, I immersed myself into meditation to find direction for my life. I put together a program of study that included the science of the mind, metaphysics, Peruvian Shamanism, energy medicine, mind-body medicine, DNA re-patterning, and empowerment training. The only message I got back from my spiritual guidance was to work with women and empowerment.

"In 1999, I started a holistic wellness practice with Dr. Richard Clofine in Atlanta, Georgia. For years I used energy and healing techniques with people who had chronic and life threatening illness and trauma.

"In 2004, my business took a quantum leap when I decided to shift my work to transformational coaching, energy medicine and empowerment retreats in Costa Rica.

"While studying with a shaman in the Peruvian rain forest in 2005, it was revealed to me through a vision that my lifework was to 'help women rebirth themselves in a new way of being and living on the planet Earth'. I began to devote myself to guiding others as they discover their own life pathways and soul purpose. It so happens that, Costa Rica, with its lushness and beauty, is a perfect place to connect to the Mother Earth and allow deep healing to occur."

I am living my passion, purpose and destiny for my lifework and I am thrilled to be facilitating other women on how to remember their Soul Purpose and Destiny.
